Evaluation of passing ship effects in St. John’s River, FL

Vessels passing the new Keystone facility will induce forces on any vessel (Coal carrier) moored at the facility. The largest passing vessels considered in this report have displacements of around
115,000 long tons. The principal concern is that the moored vessel may break free and create a navigation hazard in the river. Secondary concerns include damage to the new wharf and to the mooring system. Navy computer program PASS-MOOR is used to obtain the forces caused on the moored ship by the passing ship. The method is described inTR-6065-OCN.

Layout of 3MW floating PV Plant

Recently we have completed 3MW floating PV plant project. Below pictures represents the plan/section view of floating solar plant. We have done design and mooring analysis of floating plant.
Mooring Analysis was done using a static/dynamic analysis program called OrcaFlex, developed by Orcina, UK. OrcaFlex uses Finite Element methods to calculate the static/dynamic response to forces created by environment conditions.

Rig Stability Analysis

Client needs to know the ship’s intact and damage stability during transportation of jack up in field and ocean tow. Aryatech has performed stability analysis for rig’s intact and damage condition & concluded Maximum allowable vcg including wind heeling moment details is delivered for different conditions. The righting arm curve is developed to check the ship’s stability in all expected
conditions.
